What does Addapp do?

Next, we uncover the hidden relationships and correlations in the data you’re tracking to provide unique, personalized insights to help you know more about your fitness and well-being.

What is an insight?
An insight gives you more context about your day-to-day life and how one action can affect something else. For example: How does your running affect your sleep?

How are insights calculated?
Insights are calculated by taking the data you’re already creating through apps and devices like RunKeeper, FitBit and Jawebone UP and connecting the data sets to discover the relationships between your data.

Who can see my insights?
Insights are personal and only you see them. If you choose to, you can share your individual insights on Facebook and Twitter, which then means your friends and followers will be able to see the insight you’ve shared.

How often is my data updated?
Once you have authorized Addapp to use your data we update your data every day. To do this, though, we need you to synchronize your data with the app you are integrating with Addapp. For example, if you have connected a Fitbit Flex with Addapp we will only update your Fitbit data if you have synchronized your Fitbit with the Fitbit web or mobile app. We are continuously looking for ways to make the process even smooth and easy.

Addapp connects with the following apps: Apple Health, Argus, Bodymedia, Endomondo, Fatsecret, Fitbit, Foodzy, Garmin Connect Mobile, Get Moving, Hot5 Fitness, Human, iHealth, Instant Heart Rate, Jawbone, Magellan GPS, Mapmyrun, Misfit, Moodpanda, MotionX 24.7, Moves, MyFitnessPal, Nike+ Running, Nutrino, Runkeeper, Runmeter, Runtastic, Sleep Cycle Heart Rate, Strava, Swarm by Foursquare, Trails, Wahoo Fitness and Withings.

How do I connect my apps?
To connect your services with Addapp, simply click on the Settings button within Addapp, select Services and choose the app(s) you’d like to connect.

Help! I just signed up and no data is showing?
When you first connect a new service or app with Addapp (for example, FitBit), it can sometimes take a little while for us to receive your data.

I want to remove an app from Addapp.
To remove a service from Addapp, simply click on the Settings button within Addapp, select Services and choose the app(s) you’d like to remove.

What happens when I disconnect a service from Addapp?
When you disconnect a service from Addapp, all your data relating to that service will be removed and we’ll no longer have access to your data.

Do you have an API or developer documents?
We believe in an Open API world. It's only natural to us as we partner with services that have an open API. At the moment, though, we don't have an API, but you can expect one very soon. We will announce this via our social media channels but also via a personal e-mail to you when we implement it.

Can I export all my data?
You can’t export all your data via our mobile app. Soon, though we'll introduce a feature that will allow this. In the meantime, we would be more than happy to provide you with a CSV export of all your data. All you need to do is and we'll take care of this.
